Welcome back to our penultimate weekend reading.

In the spirit ending the year amidst some ankle-breaking market volatility, let’s appropriate a few verses from America’s favourite poem:

Two stocks diverged in a bull market,
And sorry I could not punt on both,
And be one manager, so I stood,
And shorted one down as far as I could,
To where it bounced thanks to Omicron.

I shall be telling this with a sigh,
Somewhere cycles and cycles hence:
Two stocks diverged in a market, and I –
I took the one less tweeted by,
And that has made all the difference.

Personally, I put Robert Frost together with Mark Twain; great writers, but I prefer the English.

Let’s look back on the week.
